When I Work was founded in 2010 in the United States as an employee scheduling and attendance tool for hourly and shift-based teams. Scheduling, Web/mobile/kiosk clock-in, hours and overtime calculation, and team messaging combine so the free plan already supports basic management for small shift teams.
